Note: P-Iris stands for
"Precise" auto-iris control.
P-Iris lenses have a built-in stepper motor to
allow precise remote adjustment of the lens
aperture setting (F-stop). This is done by
inputting a specific value in the camera's control
software.
P-Iris cameras are
available from Allied Vision
Technology (AVT) with their Prosilica GT
Series models.
